Jennifer M. Grigsby

Director

Ms. Grigsby has over 30 years of senior management experience in accounting, treasury, risk management, corporate governance, and corporate finance, primarily in the oil and gas exploration and production industry. Most recently, Ms. Grigsby served as Secretary of Economic Administration for the State of Oklahoma from March 2021 through November 2022. In this role, Ms. Grigsby oversaw more than 20 state agencies including the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission, the Office of the State Treasurer, the Oklahoma Tax Commission, the Lottery Commission and the State’s Pension and Retirement Systems. Prior to this role, Ms. Grigsby served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ascent Resources, LLC (‘Ascent”), an oil and gas exploration and production company located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, from July 2015 until May 2020. On February 6, 2018, three affiliated entities of Ascent, namely Ascent Resources Marcellus Holdings, LLC, Ascent Resources – Marcellus, LLC, and Ascent Resources Marcellus Minerals, LLC (collectively, the "Marcellus Affiliates"), filed a joint plan of reorganization pursuant to chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code (such plan, as amended, the "Reorganization Plan"). Ms. Grigsby was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of each of the Marcellus Affiliates at the time of the filing, On March 30, 2018, the Reorganization Plan was confirmed by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware and on May 8, 2018, the chapter 11 bankruptcy cases of the Marcellus Affiliates were closed. Prior to Ascent, Ms. Grigsby served as Chief Financial Officer of American Energy –Woodford, LLC and Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of American Energy Minerals, LLC from February 2015 to July 2015. Prior to her roles at American Energy, Ms. Grigsby spent almost 19 years with Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE: CHK) and served in various executive roles, including Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Corporate Secretary, and Senior Vice President – Corporate and Strategic Planning. Ms. Grigsby is also a principal and co-founder of Amethyst Investments, LLC, a passive financial investment company in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Ms. Grigsby currently serves on the board of directors of Silverbow Resources, Inc. (NYSE: SBOW); on the board of directors, health, safety and environment committee and audit committee of Superior Plus Corp. (TSX: SBP); and on the board of directors and investment committee of CompSource Mutual Insurance Company. Ms. Grigsby is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant and is a member of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Ms. Grigsby is also National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Directorship CertifiedTM.
